Progressing Towards FedRAMP High Certification Hyperscience Enters the Audit Phase

3 min read

As we continue our mission to bring cutting-edge, secure hyperautomation solutions to the public sector, we’re excited to share an important update on our journey toward FedRAMP High certification. Following our July announcement about our partnership with Palantir’s FedStart program, Hyperscience is now entering the next and final phase before achieving certification: a comprehensive audit by a Third Party Assessment Organization (3PAO).

This audit, beginning in the first half of October and extending through late November, represents a significant milestone on our path to becoming FedRAMP High-accredited. It’s a testament to our commitment to upholding the highest security standards for government agencies who trust Hyperscience to handle and process their sensitive data.

Understanding the 3PAO Audit

The 3PAO audit is an extensive review of Hyperscience’s security practices and capabilities, ensuring that the Hyperscience Hypercell meets the stringent standards set by the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) and demonstrating our ability to handle federal data responsibly and securely. During this phase, the 3PAO will rigorously evaluate several critical components of our platform, including:

  • FIPS Validated Encryption: We prioritize encryption to safeguard data at rest and in transit. The 3PAO audit will assess our adherence to the Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) to ensure that sensitive data remains protected.
  • Logging and Authentication: Maintaining detailed logs and strong authentication mechanisms is vital for tracking access and usage patterns. These security practices enable agencies to trace actions on our platform, offering a layer of accountability that meets FedRAMP’s high standards.
  • Incident Response: Quick and effective responses to security incidents are essential. The audit will evaluate our incident response framework to confirm our ability to identify, respond, and mitigate threats as they arise.
  • Vulnerability Remediation: Continual vulnerability scanning helps us detect potential weaknesses in our system. This aspect of the audit focuses on identifying and remediating any vulnerabilities that may compromise our platform’s security.
  • Penetration Testing: In addition to the above evaluations, the 3PAO will conduct a penetration test designed to simulate real-world cyberattacks. This rigorous testing helps us identify areas for improvement, ensuring that the Hyperscience Hypercell platform can resist even the most sophisticated attacks. This aspect of the audit provides agencies with confidence that our platform can withstand advanced threat actors and reinforces our dedication to fortifying the security of their data.

What’s Next on Our FedRAMP Journey

The audit will culminate in a detailed report by late November. With the successful completion of this 3PAO audit, Hyperscience will then enter the final stages of FedRAMP’s approval process and will soon be listed as an accredited solution for FedRAMP High and Impact Level 5 (IL5) environments. Upon achieving this accreditation, Hyperscience will stand as the only FedRAMP High Certified AI Platform, empowering federal agencies to streamline complex document workflows, enhance decision-making, and unlock new efficiencies, all with an unparalleled level of security and reliability.

Stay tuned for further updates as we continue our journey towards FedRAMP certification. We’re committed to ensuring that government agencies can leverage the power of Hyperscience with confidence that their data is secure, their processes are streamlined, and their goals are supported by a platform built for the highest levels of assurance.

Hyperscience is proud to take these essential steps, reinforcing our dedication to security, transparency, and trust as we expand our impact in the public sector.
