Charlie serves as interim CEO at Hyperscience. Prior to Hyperscience, Charlie was a Partner at Fusion Global Capital, a growth stage venture capital fund focused on enterprise software. Notable investments include RingCentral, The Trade Desk , VeloCloud and Barefoot Networks. In 2014, Charlie took the role of President at Fuze, where he helped scale the organization and lead the company through its acquisition by ThinkingPhones. Charlie joined Fuze’s acquirer, ThinkingPhones (rebranded as Fuze), in a sales leadership capacity. Charlie holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford (UK).
Chief Technology Officer
Tony serves as Chief Technology Officer at Hyperscience, leading the Product, Design and Engineering teams. He has held senior leadership roles at Yahoo, Box, Zendesk, and Dropbox. Tony began his 25-year engineering career at NASA, where he worked on automation software for air traffic control, and later continued his research into computer network optimization. Tony worked on distributed software systems while at Vitria Technology. He later built world-class teams at Box and Zendesk, and led the development of a next generation collaboration product at Dropbox. Tony holds a PhD in Engineering, and a combined degree in Engineering and Political Science from Brown University.
Chief Marketing Officer
Paz serves as Chief Marketing Officer at Hyperscience. She holds nearly 25 years marketing leadership and management experience from Enterprise and SaaS software companies including MongoDB, Cisco, Samsung, IBM and HP. She joined from Software AG, where as CMO, she spearheaded the company’s marketing transformation. Paz was one of the early hires at MongoDB, building and growing marketing and sales expansion for international markets. Paz holds a Professional Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and a BSc (Hons) degree in Economics from Loughborough University.
Chief Financial Officer
Steven serves as Chief Financial Officer at Hyperscience. He has 20 years experience in Enterprise and Self-Serve SaaS. He joined Insurance.com pre-revenue in 2002 where he built and managed FP&A until the company was acquired by Quinstreet in 2010. He then spent 3 years working at Synacor and helped take them public in 2012, running FP&A and Investor Relations. Most recently he spent nearly 6 years at Vimeo where he scaled the finance function and helped create a unicorn SaaS company. Steven earned a BSBA in Finance from John Carroll University.
Chief People Officer
Caron serves as Chief People Officer at Hyperscience. She has held senior HR roles at ADP, Turner Broadcasting (now Warner Media), Siemens, and Colonial Pipeline Company. Caron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management, and an MBA with a concentration in Finance – both from the Keller Graduate School of Management. She also holds certifications in Strategic Workforce Planning and Change Management.
Chief Revenue Officer
Chris Ranalli serves as Chief Revenue Officer at Hyperscience. He was Global Vice President – Strategic Initiatives and Sales at Imperva. Chris has served as Area Vice President of Sales at Oracle and Vice President, Enterprise Sales, North America for RSA. He began his career as a network engineer and progressed to sales building up experience from inside sales, channel and account management through to strategic accounts. In his senior sales leadership positions he has overseen sales, sales engineering and channel management.
VP Machine Learning
Ching Fong (CF) serves as VP Machine Learning at Hyperscience. He has more than 15 years of R&D experience in the tech sector. His expertise includes areas of search ranking, content classification, online advertisement, and data analytics. Prior to joining Hyperscience, CF was the Head of Machine Learning at Quora, where his teams developed ML applications of recommendation systems, content understanding, and text classification models. Before Quora, he held technical leadership positions at Polyvore (acquired by Yahoo), Shanda Innovations America, and Yahoo Search. He was also a senior researcher at the Fujitsu Lab of America.CF received a Master’s and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
VP Channel & Alliances
Max serves as VP Channel & Alliances at Hyperscience. Prior to joining Hyperscience, Max led strategic product partnerships, M&A, and corporate strategy at Bloomberg and BlackRock. His work focused on software, financial technology, data, and ML-related initiatives, such as BlackRock’s acquisition of FutureAdvisor and Bloomberg’s strategic collaboration with Temenos. Max graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Finance from American University.
Dali Rajic serves as COO at Zscaler. He holds nearly 25 years of experience in sales leadership and go-to-market operational roles. At Zscaler, Dali has worldwide responsibility for all aspects related to revenue growth and go-to-market strategy. His career includes leadership roles with AppDynamics, most recent as Chief Customer and Revenue Officer. He played a significant role in AppDynamics’ rapid ascent to market leader. Prior to joining AppDynamics, Mr. Rajic held several senior sales leadership positions at BMC Software and Verint. Dali has earned an MBA, Financial and Strategic Management from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Science, International Marketing from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
Betsy is a three-time CEO and serial entrepreneur co-founding enterprise software companies in the energy, healthcare and software industries. She scaled companies through hyper growth, and led companies to successful IPO and acquisitions such as Clear Standards bought by SAP and Ascend Communications, $5.4B in revenue acquired by Lucent for $23B. Betsy brings operational knowledge of how-to tech enable your business and use tech to accelerate business solutions and “time-to-insight” for enterprise customers. She leverages broad contemporary knowledge of digital technology to reduce costs, drive efficiency and productivity using AI machine learning analytics to streamline processes.
Matt is a Partner at venture capital firm FirstMark, where he focuses mostly on early-stage enterprise and B2B investing. He was a Managing Director at Bloomberg Ventures, the incubation arm of Bloomberg LP, which he helped start. Matt was also the co-founder of TripleHop, an enterprise search software startup that was acquired by Oracle, and then an executive at Oracle following the acquisition. Matt is passionate about building communities. Since 2011, he has been running Data Driven NYC, the largest data and AI community in the US. He also organizes Hardwired NYC, a community focused on deep tech. Matt graduated from Sciences-Po (IEP) Paris and holds an LL.M. from Yale Law School.
Ron is a Partner at Stripes focusing on working with founders of software and technology companies that are scaling rapidly around the world. Ron is currently most actively involved with Hyperscience as well as Stripes partner companies FullStory, Remitly, Sift, SPINS, Remine, and GlobalWebIndex. He was also involved with successfully realized investments in MyWebGrocer, Craftsy, Flatiron Health, Upwork, and eMarketer. He earned a BA in Philosophy from Duke University and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Elliott is a partner in the San Francisco office of Bessemer Venture Partners where he focuses primarily on growth investments in SaaS and cloud companies. He started his career with Syncom Venture Partners, investing in both early and growth stage enterprise software and frontier tech companies such as CLEAR and Iridium Satellite (IPO). He then joined Georgian Partners, investing in a number of successful growth stage software companies such as Kinnser (acquired by Mediware), TurnItIn (acquired by Advance), and eSentire. Prior to joining Bessemer, Elliott was a partner with M12, leading investments in companies such as Livongo, BlueVine, Trusona, and Cooler Screens. Elliott earned his MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Morehouse College.
Mary is a partner and co-founder of the growth investment practice at Bessemer, where she primarily focuses on cloud software investments. In addition to her role as Board Observer at Hyperscience, Mary serves as a board member or observer forBigID, GetInsured, and Contractbook, and she also works closely with Bessemer portfolio companies Forter, LaunchDarkly, and Zapier. Mary actively tracks both private and public cloud software and is one of the key architects behind the BVP Nasdaq Emerging Cloud Index (^EMCLOUD), which serves as a benchmark for public cloud companies. She also developed Bessemer’s Cash Conversion Score and is an author of the 10 Laws of Cloud. She holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and graduated cum laude with an A.B. in Politics from Princeton University.
Don Stalter oversees technology investing in the US for Global Founders Capital, where he focuses on cloud, fintech, and security. He is an investor in more than 200 startups, and is an early days partner to such companies as Brex, Checkr, CultureAmp, Deel, Headway, Kalshi, and Next Insurance. He is also a board member or observer for software startups such as Baton, Blueland, Cedar.ai, gr4vy, InCountry, Italic, and SpotHero. He started his career as an M&A banker at Credit Suisse in San Francisco, and then worked in growth equity in London.
Wesley Chan is a Managing Director at Felicis Ventures where he led investments in more than 35 companies. He founded Google Analytics and Google Voice and holds 17 US patents for his foundational work in designing Google’s ads system. Wesley is an early investor and a coach or board director in a large number of well-known billion dollar “unicorn” startups: Canva, Gusto, Guild Education, Orca Bio, Flexport, Plaid, Checkr, Carta, Credit Karma, Zipline, RobinHood and Ring (exit to AMZN).
Vidhan is on the investment team at Stripes, an NYC-based growth equity firm and Hyperscience’s Series B lead investor. At Stripes, he evaluates software and fintech investments and works closely with a few portfolio companies. He holds a BS in Operations Research and Information Engineering from Cornell University.
