Now Available on Google Cloud Marketplace to help organizations deploy AI into mission-critical, back-office processes

By Mayur Pillay, VP of Corporate Development and Head of HyperAI

There’s no doubt that GenAI has gone mainstream in the consumer market, and is one of the most rapidly adopted technologies in the history of innovation. From generating personalized content like essays, images, and music, to assisting with everyday tasks such as writing emails, translating languages, and providing creative ideas, there is no shortage of stories of how GenAI is assisting people in their everyday lives.

While consumers have sped down the superhighway with GenAI, the road to adoption in the enterprise has been more bumpy. According to Gartner, only 9% of enterprises have adopted GenAI inside their organization.

There are many reasons for this low adoption, but a core issue has been the lack of relevancy, context, and accuracy for end users. A general purpose LLM trained on publicly available data lacks critical grounding and context to be helpful to employees and knowledge workers trying to solve mission critical processes. In addition, enterprises require robust security, compliance and data governance, and model auditability and traceability, and have been reluctant to embrace unproven GenAI and LLM technologies at scale across their organizations.

To break through in the back office, GenAI needs access to the documents and data at the core of an organization (the language of the business). And GenAI needs to help automate and enhance the real-world use cases that knowledge workers deal with every day, along with reliable, consistent results. Finally to deploy GenAI in production and at scale in the enterprises, solutions must be built with security, governance, and compliance at the core, rather than bolted on functionality.

In order to achieve meaningful ROI for mission critical applications and use cases (going beyond common surface level use cases today) organizations should look to the back office. This is where the documents that organizations rely on to run their business live, and this is where today many organizations still struggle with manual, costly, and inefficient processes. The back office is the next ideal target market that is ripe for transformation through enterprise GenAI.

In June, Hyperscience launched Hypercell for GenAI, a solution designed to unlock this target market, by enabling organizations to harness the value of their proprietary back office data and transform their mission critical processes. Hypercell for GenAI teaches GenAI the language of your business, and safely and securely develops proprietary, sovereign, GenAI models that deliver significant business value and differentiation for organizations.

The back office is the sweet spot for Hyperscience. People trust the back office with their most important, life changing events – a mortgage application, an application for citizenship, health insurance benefits claims, an application for admission to university. And, the back office trusts Hyperscience – we are rated a market leader by three tier-one industry analyst firms, and we process over a billion documents a year for some customers – with 99.5% accuracy and 98% automation.

This trust is also based on the high premium that Hyperscience places on security, governance and compliance, and model management, auditability and traceability. Since the company’s inception Hyperscience has embedded these capabilities at the core of the platform, and continues to invest in these areas with each release, including our plan to achieve FedRAMP High certification by the end of the year.

Since the Hypercell for GenAI launch in June, we’ve generated significant interest from customers, partners, and market watchers. Earlier this week, Deep Analysis, a respected analyst firm that covers the Intelligent Document Processing market and back office automation, recognized Hypercell for GenAI as a winner of its coveted 2024 Innovation Award.

Google Cloud has been an invaluable partner to Hyperscience, and Hypercell for GenAI, since the product’s inception. And, I am pleased to share that today Hypercell for GenAI is now available on Google Cloud Marketplace to offer a seamless, turnkey experience for customers.

Customers can use Hyperscience and Google Cloud together to improve their Gen AI results and LLM model accuracy by connecting accurate, vectorized enterprise data to Vertex AI, supporting use cases such as prompt engineering, grounding, retrieval augmented generation (RAG), and model fine-tuning. Furthermore, Hypercell for GenAI provides fully customizable human-in-the-loop interfaces and an orchestration engine for business users to help organizations assemble experiences across AI models, human interaction, business logic, and 3rd party software.

Hyperscience offers seamless integrations with Google Cloud services like BigQuery, AlloyDB, the Vertex AI platform, and Google Cloud Storage. Customers can effortlessly transfer and synchronize their data with these platforms, maximizing its  power for analytics, robust storage, and cutting-edge AI capabilities.

Customers can leverage the combined Hyperscience and Google Cloud technologies to embrace GenAI and reimagine business processes like customer onboarding, invoice processing, account opening, underwriting, contract management, benefits processing, records management, billing and claims management, patient registration, and more.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is another important partner for Hypercell for GenAI. In June, we announced our initial partnership with HPE to accelerate AI model development by transforming complex documents embedded at the core of the enterprise into an accurate, AI-ready data estate for applications, including generative AI. Our partnership with HPE continues to progress – Hyperscience has joined the HPE AI Cloud Customer Advisory Board, and Hypercell for GenAI is now listed as a preferred solution in HPE’s OEM marketplace program.

2025 will be the year that GenAI inside the enterprise progresses from experimental science projects to real-world production applications. The organizations that get there first will have a distinct competitive advantage, driving greater efficiency, superior customer and partner experiences, and increased revenue.
