Since closing a $30 million Series B funding round in January 2019, we grew to more than 115 strong, expanded our leadership team, opened our second European office in London to expand our international presence, and consistently achieved double-digit growth month-over-month. To ring in the new year, we rounded up our top moments from 2019:

In March, Hyperscience was recognized as a Major Contender in the 2019 Everest Group Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) Products PEAK Matrix™. The 2019 IDP PEAK Matrix, the first of its kind, reflects the growing interest from companies to automate their operations and a dawning realization that document processing is often a crucial step in these workflows.

In the spring, Hyperscience unveiled our leading-edge benefits, which reflect our core company values and belief that every employee has a right to healthcare, retirement, work-life symbiosis and childcare.

In May, we announced our partnership with Blue Prism. Using the connector, Blue Prism customers can unlock data from documents in images or PDF format that were previously inaccessible through RPA and automate each step in the full lifecycle of intelligent document processing capabilities.

In June, we participated in the ninth annual FinTech Innovation Lab New York Demo Day, which brought together eleven emerging enterprise tech companies to share their technologies with top executives within the financial services, venture capital and technology industries. We shared our perspective on understanding customer pain points and drawing a roadmap from lab insights on their blog.

In July, we released version 25.0.0 of our product, which included specialized models to maximize automation and accuracy for checks (in addition to invoices) and French, Spanish & German language capabilities.

In September, we announced our partnership with UiPath, which enables customers to seamlessly connect Hyperscience’s best-in-class document processing platform to UiPath workflows, so organizations can extract better data and achieve end-to-end automation. Max Lien, our Head of Partnerships, spoke to UiPath’s Brent Haley on-camera about the partnership during IA Week Chicago. Learn about Voya Financial’s path to continuous improvement and automation with Hyperscience and UiPath on Forbes.

In October, we announced the opening of our London office – our second in Europe! – and appointment of Nay Odutola as Head of Europe, a key step in the company’s international expansion plans. London will serve as a sales and operations center, and we’re looking for Sales Development Representatives and Solutions Engineers to join our team!

We closed October by announcing our strategic partnership with Reveal Group to serve the digital transformation needs of our clients globally with an on-the-ground footprint in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia. Reveal Group professionals participated in rigorous training and earned their certification in the HyperScience platform and successfully deployed and integrated HyperScience and Blue Prism at a top American mutual insurance company.

We ended the year getting recognized as one of the 20 Most Promising Insurance Tech Solutions Providers in 2019 by CIO Review. Check out their feature with our CEO here!
