Don Stalter oversees technology investing in the US for Global Founders Capital, where he focuses on cloud, fintech, and security. He is an investor in more than 200 startups, and is an early days partner to such companies as Brex, Checkr, CultureAmp, Deel, Headway, Kalshi, and Next Insurance. He is also a board member or observer for software startups such as Baton, Blueland,, gr4vy, InCountry, Italic, and SpotHero. He started his career as an M&A banker at Credit Suisse in San Francisco, and then worked in growth equity in London

During his stint in the UK, he moonlighted as an entrepreneur, ultimately co-founding CityDeal, a cloud retail startup that was sold to Groupon. Don then brought his expertise to Airbnb early on, where he launched multiple offices both organically and through M&A. He navigated regulatory and security and infrastructure challenges, localization, and operations.
